June 24, 2009
This festival celebrates the longest daylight day of the year in Garðabær. These photos were taken during the late evening through the early morning.

Music fills the night from the choir

A young man looked at my painting. Then he looked around, up at the sky, and said, "Never in my life have I been in such a fabulous gallery".

So many people enjoyed this great evening.

One woman, who'd lived in Garðabær for forty years, had never walked on this path before. She said that it was like being abroad, all the people and the beautiful weather.

After the festival Gunnella took her painting back to her patio.

It was time to complete the process and make many paintings.

Snip, snip, snip

And the art goes on.
Some of these paintings are still available from Gunnella.
